Legal Stalwart Extends Helping Hand to Robina
Attwood Marshall Lawyers is continuing to implement a strategic expansion program opening a new office in the Robina Town Centre.
The Coolangatta headquartered firm has returned to the centre where it operated between 1998 and 2004.
The opening of the Robina office comes a year after Attwood Marshall successfully expanded to Kingscliff.
Partner Mr Jeff Garrett said he had great confidence in the future of the Robina office and the Robina Town Centre.
“Our previous experience in the Robina market, the expansion of the centre, the population growth and development of the area generally provide the firm with significant scope for growth,” said Mr Garrett.
“The move back to the town centre, where we are the only law firm, will position us well as the economy continues to strengthen.
“In the past 12 months we have strategically established a presence in key growth in anticipation of future growth and increased market share.
“The Tweed Coast has been covered by our Kingscliff office, the central Coast by the new Robina outlet and a Southport operation is also on our agenda for the future.”
Attwood Marshall has signed a six-year lease at Robina Town Centre on level four, Arbour Lane Terraces. The new office will be adjacent to the proposed Myer Store.
Partner Gavin Mills oversees the new office where five senior lawyers are permanently stationed providing services in personal injury law, family law, wills and estates, business & commercial law and property conveyancing.
Attwood Marshall Lawyers’ history on the Gold Coast extends back to 1946.
Mr Garrett said the expansion of the firm had been undertaken as the long-term business outlook for the Gold Coast was very positive in spite of the current impacts of the global financial crisis.
“It is our view that we should invest in expansion now to capitalise on the growth the city will deliver as the economy continues to improve in 2010 and in the years to come,” said Mr Garrett.
“We have also invested in professionals with high levels of expertise to ensure we provide top quality advice as well as convenient locations.”
“Attwood Marshall’s new Robina Town Centre office also reflect’s our ability to capitalise on locations in major shopping centres.”
Attwood Marshall’s head office has operated from Showcase On The Beach shopping centre in Coolangatta since it opened in 1989.
As well as the partners, the firm has 55 employees including 20 lawyers.
