Holly graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University in 2011, and later that same year was admitted to the Queensland Supreme Court. In 2014 she was admitted to the High Court of Australia.
After practicing exclusively in the areas of commercial and estate litigation for more than 10 years, Holly joined Attwood Marshall Lawyers in 2020.
Holly brought with her significant experience dealing in complex contractual disputes, debt recovery, and commercial and residential property disputes.
She enjoys the urgency and diversity that practicing in commercial litigation brings.
“I enjoy that someone can come to us with what feels like an overwhelming, complex problem and we are able to take that stress and concern away from them and achieve a resolution. It is so satisfying to cut through the confusion and uncertainty and provide a clear path to resolving the situation for our clients,“ Holly explained.
In relation to Estate Litigation, Holly is able to assist with disputes relating to the validity of Wills, family provision applications, removal of Executors and applications for guardianship and administration.
She feels honoured to be able to help clients shoulder some of the burden they are carrying, so that they can grieve and not have to worry about the day to day drama that comes with disputes over Wills. Her intent is to help her clients so that they can focus on the important things rather than the background issues that seem to take over.
Holly is currently completing her Masters (Applied Wills and Estates) through College of Law.
In her spare time, she loves reading (one book a day!) and spending time with her two Shih Tzu dogs (one 14-year old boy, and one 6-year old girl).
Holly loves catching up with friends and family, including her three nephews and niece she adores, and spending weekends at the beach.
