Joseph Dove

Joseph supports the Wills & Estates and Family Law departments to consistently deliver incomparable service to our clients. He works across our estate administration, estate planning, family law and aged care services.

When people first speak to Joseph, they are often in the midst of a difficult time, grappling with a loved one’s death or a difficult family situation and are in need of direction. Joseph has a genuine empathy for our clients and strives to put them at ease.

Joseph first joined Attwood Marshall Lawyers in June 2022 as an Administration Assistant. He quickly adapted to the fast-paced work environment and earned a promotion to Paralegal in the Wills & Estates Department.

He holds a Certificate IV in Business Administration and is currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree of Law at Southern Cross University, where he has completed several core units to date.

Joseph has a strong sense of community, having previously worked for non-profit organisations including Connect Northern Rivers Inc. where he facilitated work placements for high school students and carried out tasks related to administration, networking and customer service. He also has strong ties to the Salvation Army church and continues to be involved in the important outreach programs that the charity runs to support those in our community who are most in need.

As a Senior Paralegal, Joseph finds it rewarding to support the firm’s solicitors and observe how they work. His command of the administrative process and ability to connect with people allow him to excel in his position.

As part of his role, he oversees setting appointments and document management, while also fostering lasting relationships with clients throughout their legal matter.

With a particular focus on estate administration, Joseph often must deal directly with banks and financial institutions on behalf of clients to facilitate the smooth distribution of assets. He also drafts documents and assists in the transfer of property to executors or beneficiaries. Utilizing strong customer-service skills, Joseph is driven by an end goal of helping individuals through this sensitive period with compassion and support.
