Melany has more than 21 years of experience in property disputes, building and construction disputes, insolvency, contract and equity disputes. Her clients include large private companies to small family owned and operated entities, insolvency practitioners, and individuals.
She has acted in matters ranging from multi-million dollar claims in the Supreme Court of Queensland, to applying for and defending applications for an injunction to proceedings commenced in the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT).
Melany has a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology and has been admitted to the High Court of Australia. She is also a member of Queensland Law Society and The Building Dispute Practitioners' Society (BDPS).
She approaches each matter with a clear focus on her client’s desired outcome, while providing realistic and practical advice on what can be achieved.

Melany was interviewed by reporter, Alexis Daish about the distressing case of Phil and Eunice Goude who face eviction from the house they built and have lived in for nearly 20 years, due to a financial dispute with a trustee they had believed would help them.
