Romy Garrett - Law Graduate - Wills & Estates
Romy Garrett has been with Attwood Marshall Lawyers since January 2011 and provides integral support to the Wills and Estates department.

Romy graduated from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2020.

She decided to pursue a legal career after gaining early exposure to the practice and seeing first-hand the role lawyers can play in easing the stress and uncertainty of those going through tough times – first as part of Attwood Marshall Lawyers’ administration team, which she joined in 2011, and later as a paralegal in the Wills and Estates department.

Now a Law Graduate and Senior Paralegal, Romy has built up a specialist focus on estate administration. She is interested in applications for probate and the transmission or transfer of property to beneficiaries, particularly where there are joint assets, acting for both executors and beneficiaries.

As a valuable contributor to our Wills and Estates department, Romy thrives on the team’s mission to help people that have gone through – or are going through – the loss of a loved one, taking the strain of finalizing an estate off executors or beneficiaries and delivering them the best results.

She enjoys working in Wills and Estates because of the versatility of every case that crosses the team’s desk. No matter how big or small the estate is, there is always something slightly different at stake and she enjoys the challenges of nutting out the problem at hand and working hard to ensure her clients’ wishes are satisfied.
