Debbie joined our Wills & Estates department as a Senior Paralegal in June 2005 and has extensive experience and skills to assist in the preparation and drafting of Wills, Enduring Power of Attorneys, Enduring Guardians and Advance Health Directives. Debbie has predominantly worked in the administration of Deceased Estates. She practices exclusively in Wills & Estates in both the Queensland and New South Wales.
Debbie graduated with a Bachelor of Laws at Southern Cross University and was initially admitted as a Legal Practitioner in the Supreme Court of Queensland. She has also been admitted to the High Court of Australia and is a member of the Queensland Law Society.
Debbie is approachable, friendly and has great empathy towards our clients in difficult circumstances that involve the death of a loved one. Debbie’s knowledge provides executors and beneficiaries with practical and personal advice at their time of loss and understands that the process can be overwhelming. Her compassionate approach helps clients carry out all parts of the administration process with ease. Some of those things include and are not limited to, advising executors and trustees of their duties and rights, applying for probate of the Will, assisting the estate where this no Will, collecting estate assets including superannuation, bank funds, insurance payouts, and shares, selling or transferring property, paying estate debts and distributing bequests and inheritances to beneficiaries.
