I hope you had time to catch up with your loved ones over the Christmas-New Year period, relax and regenerate in preparation for 2021.
2020 was certainly a year like no other, and we saw this flow through our law firm with spikes in enquiries across all areas of law, particularly family law, wills and estates, compensation law, estate litigation, commercial disputes and, more recently, property matters.
Despite it being a new year, we continue to see the uncertainty that COVID-19 brings for so many people and businesses. With the local Queensland/New South Wales border once again closed, I just wanted to remind you that our Coolangatta and Kingscliff offices either side of the border are fully staffed and able to take appointments. This will save you having to run the border checkpoint gauntlets. Our Robina Town Centre office is open on Thursdays until 9pm and Saturday mornings until 12 noon, which has been very popular with clients who cannot get in to see us during normal business hours.
We can also arrange appointments at our Brisbane City and Melbourne offices. With Sydney currently being declared a hot spot, we are able to offer our Sydney clients appointments over the phone or by video conference. We are hopeful that the borders will open soon to Greater Sydney, allowing our team to return to normal with interstate travel.
Our team continue to meticulously follow COVID safe procedures across all our offices and when visiting clients. We have implemented a government approved COVID Safe Plan to ensure our staff and clients wellbeing are always a top priority.
Innovation is always front of mind at Attwood Marshall Lawyers, and our team are excited to be working on new and visionary projects in the digital space which we intend to launch in the coming months to help make it even easier for you to make appointments, connect with our team, and seek the information and help you need.
