Attwood Marshall Lawyers has expanded its Robina office to larger premises in the Robina Town Centre at a convenient location for the benefit of clients. The demand for legal services has increased in this growth area and extends the availability of the firm for client’s in the central and northern Gold Coast.
At the same time it is meeting new demand at its other outlets – Kingscliff on the Tweed Coast, its cross-border operations at Coolangatta and a fledgling Brisbane CBD presence.
The firm has taken up a maximum five-year lease of 195 square metres at Robina Town Centre (RTC) and has engaged five full-time lawyers to practice there along with support staff. The new office is next to the RACQ & QML offices facing out on to Robina Town Centre Drive on the western side of the centre (near to the Robina Post Office).
Key areas of practice serviced from the RTC are personal injury claims, estate litigation, commercial litigation, property & commercial (including conveyancing), family law, traffic & criminal law, and wills and estate administration.
Legal Practice Director Jeff Garrett says the firm is recording its strongest levels of business since the global financial crisis.
“Growth is occurring across all operations and we see our new Robina location as an important platform for substantial future expansion and not just in its immediate market area,” said Mr Garrett.
“Our research and previous experience at Robina has shown that many clients find it easier to come to the RTC for their legal work than to battle the traffic and parking chaos in areas like Southport.
“We are also breaking new ground by opening the new Robina office on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings to maximise convenience for clients and to keep in sync with the shopping centre’s operations.
“Our clients include RTC business owners, workers and shoppers who enjoy easy access to our services at convenient times.”
Attwood Marshall has a long association with the RTC, opening an office there shortly after the launch of the centre in 1996 with an office overlooking the lake.
Mr Garrett said this office was closed due to the centre’s redevelopment and a changed tenancy configuration that was not as advantageous for the firm.
“However Attwood Marshall returned to the centre in 2008 and operated there until 2011 when a change in the partnership resulted in a temporary absence until now.
“Significant growth in the post-GFC environment has now spurred a return to the RTC when a prominent location near the Post Office, RACQ and other professional service providers became available.
“We have had a strong presence at the RTC in the past, where we have capitalised on the location, profile and huge pedestrian traffic offered and we are very confident of greater future success,” said Mr Garrett.
“While the firm uses the highest level of technology to streamline service we also implement a policy to maintain personal contact with clients, making easy access and parking important for them.”
The firm also maintains a small serviced office in the Brisbane CBD with expansion also on the agenda for this market.
Attwood Marshall, established in 1946, employs 20 lawyers and 30 graduates, paralegals and administrative staff.
The new office has commenced fit-out works and is due to open in early December. The existing premises at Eastside closes on Friday 28 October. For appointments and enquiries please contact our headquarters in Coolangatta on 1800 621 071 or email info@attwoodmarshall.com.au.
