Introduction
Carlu Booth, who was raised in Melbourne, has resided on the Gold Coast for the past 30 years. Growing up, Carlu always knew she wanted to work in law, specifically in family law.
She has worked in the legal industry for over 20 years, having completed her Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) at Griffith University, where she received the Top Graduate Award. Following the completion of her studies at Griffith University, Carlu commenced practising exclusively in family law at a boutique law firm on the Gold Coast whilst completing her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Queensland College of Law.
Carlu was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in early 2011.
She is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Family Law Practitioners Association and the Gold Coast District Law Association.
As a solicitor practising exclusively in Family Law, Carlu’s focus is on assisting clients in finding practical and cost-effective legal solutions, whether it be by negotiation and mediation or through Court proceedings. Carlu is acutely aware that each family law matter is as unique as each family, and she is driven to achieve the best outcomes for her clients in a confidential and sympathetic environment.
