Wills Awareness Day – Free Legal Information Presentation – Friday 19 August 2011

Plan ahead and protect your family with a legally prepared Estate Plan.

DO YOU HAVE A WILL? It’s a topic that none of us like to consider for very long, but one that is of vital importance to ensure your final wishes are carried out. Attwood Marshall’s experienced lawyers are dedicated to ensuring that our clients’ estates are prepared and managed in the way that they intended.

Jeff Garrett of Attwood Marshall Lawyers invites you to attend a free legal information presentation on making a will and other legal estate planning matters.

The presentation is an initiative of the New South Wales Law Society. The presentation will cover how to deal with wills in general, including information on:

• What is a will, do I need one and what are the contents of a will?
• How do I make a valid will?
• What happens if I don’t get it right?
• Can a will be challenged?
• What happens if I don’t make a will?

This is a free service for the community. All welcome.

Complimentary refreshments provided.

Seminars will be held at the following venues:

Murwillumbah Bowls & Sport Club

1 Condong Street

MURWILLUMBAH NSW 2484

Date: 19 August 2011 Time: 10.30am

Pottsville Beach Sports Club (Pottsville Bowls Club)

Lot 479, Coast Road, Pottsville NSW 2489

Date: 19 August 2011 Time: 2.30pm

Having a legal, properly prepared Will is vitally important to ensure your final wishes in regard to the distribution of your estate are carried out. Without a legal Will, your estate could be distributed unfairly according to a formula set by each state and territory’s probate laws. This could result in some of your relatives receiving more than you wished while other loved ones are not provided for in the way you intended.
