Maria Khalifa

Based in our Brisbane office, Maria is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Queensland.

Day-to-day, she supports our litigation teams while also carrying out administrative tasks including managing our reception desk, taking telephone enquiries, scheduling appointments, preparing documents and providing general office support.

Maria was drawn to a career in law after realising her passion for language and research, combined with a genuine desire to help others. She understands that navigating a litigious dispute can be a daunting experience for clients, and she enjoys the challenge of finding ways to ease that burden.

Before joining Attwood Marshall Lawyers, Maria completed a clerkship at construction and infrastructure litigation law firm CDI Lawyers, where she honed her skills in time management, teamwork, customer service and attention to detail.

She enjoys working closely with solicitors, strengthening her legal writing and analytical reasoning while building a practical understanding of how litigation plays out in real matters.

Outside of work, Maria volunteers with the “Uplift Homeless Service” and is a member of Justice and the Law Society at the University of Queensland.
