Amber has over ten years’ experience working in the legal industry. She started her professional career at an insurance brokerage on the Gold Coast before moving to a law firm in Sydney where she was a legal and personal assistant to a Partner in the firm.

During her time working at the insurance brokers, Amber found the contentious matters in the claims area particularly enjoyable as she was able to secure wins for clients who had previously been declined by underwriters and insurance companies. She realised her passion was for fighting for the rights of people who either didn’t know how to or were unable to stand up for themselves to obtain the best outcome.

This led Amber to take on a role as a Paralegal at a Tweed Heads-based law firm, supporting the sole director and dealing mostly with Wills, Power of Attorney documentation, Estate Administration and Estate Litigation.

In addition to her Wills and Estates experience, Amber has racked up extensive experience in insurance compensation claims involving motor vehicle accidents, home and contents insurance and strata.

At Attwood Marshall Lawyers, Amber is an integral part of the firm’s dispute resolution offering, helping to support our lawyers in the estate litigation department by taking enquiries, booking appointments, drafting documents, and maintaining consistent communication with clients ensuring they are kept up to date every step of the way.

Amber was drawn to a career in law after being told at an early age that there are two things in this world that will always be around and that will always change: legislation and technology.

Amber believes that everyone has, at some point or another, lost someone or something that they love and she thrives on assisting people during these challenging times to help alleviate unnecessary stresses.

She prides herself on her ability to remain empathetic and personable, even when dealing with people during some of the most difficult periods of the lives, to help them achieve the outcome they deserve.
