Attwood Marshall Lawyers proudly sponsored the “Light Up a Life Lunch” held at the Salt Bar Kingscliff on Friday 9th October 2015. The event was hosted by TV Presenter and Ambassador for Tweed Palliative Support and Wedgetail Retreat Natalie Gruzlewski and was a sell out success with 200 guests attending the luncheon and fashion parade.

Tweed Palliative Support is a well established community run organisation that provides free support services for people living with a life-limiting illness. Trained volunteers offer a range of services to palliative clients, their families and carers including personal care, shopping, transport to and from medical appointments, loan of medical equipment and emotional support.

TPS receives minimal government funding and relies almost completely on community donations, income from its Op Shops, grants from local organisations and fundraising drives. TPS gives emphasis to end-of-life options and maintaining a high quality of life.

We are extremely proud to be able to help such an important cause in our local community and one of the best ways to leave a legacy for the future is to include a specific bequest or donation in your Will.

If you wish to give a bequest to a charity such as Tweed Palliative Suppor or Wedgetail Retreat, or to request more information on making or updating your Will, please contact our Wills and Estates Department Manager Donna Tolley on 07 5506 8241 or email dtolley@attwoodmarshall.com.au.

TPS urgently need a hand in funding for nursing staff for the Wedgetail Retreat 24/7. Click the link to donate to the $500,000 Hospice Appeal and help to Light Up a Life TODAY!
