Amy Lewis

Amy commenced her legal career in Sydney, spending a decade working for a barrister’s chambers, as well as a boutique litigation firm that specialised in asbestos litigation. She was lucky to have a mentor who genuinely cared about his clients, and his work ethic inspired her to continue developing her career in law. Her main objective is to help people who are suffering ill health or injury – whether this be a work-related injury or an unforeseen disease.

Since relocating to the Gold Coast and starting at Attwood Marshall Lawyers as a Senior Paralegal in April 2018, Amy has found her niche in superannuation claims, with a strong interest in Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) claims.

In February 2021, Amy graduated from Southern Cross University with an Associate Degree in Law.

Amy is empathic towards our clients’ needs and understands the emotional toll that litigation can have on clients and their families. She takes pride in ensuring the best possible experience for her clients and is always happy to help wherever she can.

Amy has vast experience in compensation law with a particular focus on superannuation claims including TPD, income protection and terminal illness claims, as well as motor vehicle accident claims, work injury claims, and public liability matters. She has also had exposure to Family Law and Wills and Estates matters.

Amy is eager to help people who are going through a difficult time. She says it’s a great feeling to facilitate a large insurance payout that can drastically change the life of a person in need. Knowing that her work can make such a positive impact on a client’s life is what drives her to excel in this area of law and go above and beyond for her clients.
