Meet the team
Fleur Wallis joins the firm as the Property & Commercial Law Department Manager.
With 25 years’ experience as a conveyancer, including a decade as a registered real estate salesperson on the Gold Coast, Fleur has a vast knowledge of the property market and conveyancing industry.
Fleur values the long-standing relationships she forms in her day-to-day role managing the operations of the team, both with the clients she assists and other industry professionals she collaborates with in her role.
Tobie Mitchell is a Senior Associate, with a focus on business and commercial law for small to large enterprises. In his commercial law practice, Tobie advises clients on a broad array of matters including business law, lending, intellectual property, and franchising.
Tobie can also provide advice on a range of property and real estate matters including commercial and residential developments, purchase and sale of property, strata and community titles law, and leasing.
Taylah Lein is a Lawyer in our Property and Commercial team and supports Tobie in his business and commercial work.
Taylah joined Attwood Marshall Lawyers in 2023 after working as a law clerk at another Gold Coast firm where she built up experience assisting partners and senior associates with off-the-plan, residential and commercial sales and purchases, business transactions and business structuring, and mortgages and securities.
Mieke Elzer is our Property and Commercial Law Senior Associate working across both New South Wales and Queensland jurisdictions.
Mieke’s expertise is in residential and commercial conveyancing when buying or selling property, off-the-plan purchases, body corporate services, business sales, and advice on loan documents.
Mieke is also very interested in Planning & Environmental Law, comparative law, legal pluralism, and social change, particularly when applied to the areas of environmental protection and Indigenous rights. She actively collaborates with several not-for-profit organisations on this front.
Levi Karaitiana is an experienced senior conveyancing paralegal with more than 16 years’ experience in the legal industry, including seven years dedicated to residential conveyancing. Levi is based in our Brisbane office and supports clients through all stages of their property journey, from preparing and reviewing contracts through to managing settlements and ensuring each transaction runs smoothly from start to finish.
Jess Kimpton has over 15 years’ experience in property law and residential conveyancing, and supports the team broadly as a Senior Paralegal.
And rounding out the team, we also have Jordan Price, who plays an equally integral support role in the team as a Paralegal.
