  • How mediation works to resolve matters with your ex,
  • What child support covers,
  • Travelling with children after separation,
  • Introducing a new partner after separation,

  • Changing a child’s surname,
  • Grandparents’ rights,
  • Leaving a violent relationship when you have children, and
  • Surrogacy in Australia.

Anyone can join Parent TV to access these online videos and more.

What is Parent TV?

Parent TV is the brainchild of Founder and CEO, Sam Jockel. As a parent of three children herself, Sam recognised while studying community development at university that while there was no shortage of parenting blogs, online communities and advice, more information doesn’t always mean more support.

Sam saw first-hand that many parents and their children were struggling, with families also becoming increasingly disconnected. She wanted to help change that for the next generation.

Parenting today looks very different to previous generations. As new research continues to emerge, Parent TV aims to give parents practical advice and evidence-based information to help them navigate modern parenting challenges.

Parent TV offers wide-ranging content, including insights from the world’s leading parenting and educational experts, covering education, mental health, child behaviour, pregnancy, technology, social wellbeing, and more.

Individual videos can be rented, or viewers can choose a monthly subscription or annual membership to access more than 2,000 videos and interactive learning resources.

Our team are delighted to sit alongside respected experts such as Dr Justin Coulson, Maggie Dent, Dr Kristy Goodwin, Katie Forsythe, and Rachel Doherty, to name a few.

Bringing legal expertise to Parent TV

Our family lawyers understand the broader issues parents and families often face when legal problems arise.

Part of their role is making the law accessible. That means cutting through the legal jargon and providing practical information in language people can understand.

Partnering with Parent TV is a natural extension of that commitment. It gives Attwood Marshall Lawyers another way to share our legal insights and real-world stories that help parents better understand their rights, responsibilities, and options.

We hope our episodes provide parents and families with confidence and peace of mind when they need it most.
